General Tips for Taking Heal-n-Soothe®

Take Heal-n-Soothe® on an empty stomach: The proteolytic enzymes in Heal-n-Soothe® will break down protein in your digestive tract. That’s why you should always take them on an empty stomach, or with any protein at the same time. This will help them absorb into your bloodstream to help your joint and muscle discomfort. Take Heal-n-Soothe® at least 30 minutes before or 60 minutes after food for best results.

Take Heal-n-Soothe® every day: Heal-n-Soothe® works best with consistent use. Our natural enzyme levels drop quickly as we age, so keeping your enzymes high provides health benefits beyond relief from joint discomfort. Make taking Heal-n-Soothe® a healthy habit, just like brushing your teeth.

Be patient – While some feel an immediate difference, others may take days or weeks. That’s to be expected as several factors affect your results including nutritional habits, physical activity level, serving size and consistency of taking Heal-n-Soothe®.

Why You Should Take Heal-n-Soothe Every Day

Unless you have a degree in Enzymology, you probably know very little about systemic proteolytic enzymes or what they do…

Don’t worry — you only need a layman’s understanding of how they work in your body to get their full benefit.

“Systemic” means these enzymes flow throughout your entire circulatory system.

“Proteolytic” means these enzymes break down non-living proteins in your body. These non-living proteins become metabolic bi-product that build up in your blood, joints, soft tissue and organs. They are the source of most of your joint discomfort and irritation, and they hinder your body’s immune response.

Proteolytic enzymes break these waste products down into smaller peptides or amino acids. Your body either finds a use for them or flushes them out of your system.

With the waste gone, your body can begin its natural recovery process.

Every person produces proteolytic enzymes in their body. But as you age, your pancreas decreases production of proteolytic enzymes.

That’s why proteolytic enzyme supplements are important additions to your daily diet. You can also get proteases from raw fruits like pineapple, papaya and kiwis. Even local honey are great sources of proteolytic enzymes.

The more proteolytic enzymes in your body, the more active and mobile you may feel. You may notice chronic nuisances like joint discomfort and irritation start to diminish.

Proteolytic enzymes have one other important function… They regulate the biological processes that control your body’s immune response.

Consistent use of proteolytic enzymes supports a healthy immune response in your body.

Our formula includes five types of proteolytic enzymes. We also use herbal extracts that support the action of the enzymes.

How to Take Heal-n-Soothe®

A standard dose of 3 capsules before bedtime and at least one hour after dinner works well to improve joint and muscle comfort for most people. That’s because the ingredients in Heal-n-Soothe® go to work immediately to support healthy levels of all sorts of waste products and other biological compounds that lead to muscle irritation and uncomfortable joints.

However, there are times when you may experience acute muscle or joint discomfort. These types of flare-ups are most likely to occur after exercise or physical exertion. When that happens, there is nothing wrong with taking two or three doses on a daily basis until improvements are seen.

For two doses, take 3 capsules in the morning at least 30 minutes before breakfast and 3 capsules before bedtime, at least one hour after dinner. (If you choose to add a third dose, we recommend taking it about 30 minutes before your mid-day meal.)

Heal-n-Soothe® Works In Stages

Over the past 12 years we have found that most people who take Heal-n-Soothe® have a similar pattern of health improvements. When you take Heal-n-Soothe® as directed, you can expect to enjoy these benefits in the coming days and weeks:

Week 1: The Cleansing Stage

As you begin taking Heal-n-Soothe®, expect the their powerful activity to begin the process of breaking down metabolic waste products from your blood stream. If you experience a loosening of the stool or change in the odor and color of your urine, don’t be alarmed. This is a normal byproduct of your body expelling metabolic waste. If you don’t notice these changes, that’s okay. It just means there were fewer waste products present to expel.

Weeks 2-4: The Control Stage

This is the stage you’ll begin to feel and enjoy powerful support for joint discomfort, and an ease in joint irritation. At this point the enzymes and herbal extracts will start to ramp up their support of a healthy inflammatory response in your body. You’ll begin to feel a gradual reduction in joint discomfort, and you may feel more active and mobile.

Weeks 4-8: The Breakthrough Stage

By your second month you’ll start to enjoy some of the most powerful, invigorating health benefits Heal-n-Soothe® delivers. This is when the second most important

enzymatic mechanism becomes more noticeable: greater support for the breakdown of excess fibrin and dead tissues that are clogging up your joints and circulation. This is good news for anyone who wants to maintain healthy blood flow and fewer physical discomforts.

Week 9 and beyond: The Continuity Stage

This is the final and most important stage. The enzymes have removed lots of metabolic waste in your body… joint discomfort no longer controls your life… mobility is improved… your body has strong support for a healthy inflammatory response…

But you may have questions. For example…

What if Heal-n-Soothe® isn’t working for me?

Here is an honest truth.

How long it takes before you feel better depends on three things.

  1. How out of balance your enzyme levels are
  2. The severity of any acute or chronic symptoms you may have
  3. How much work the enzymes must do to support your immune system and overall recovery

And while the standard dosage works for most people, there are some cases when extreme support is necessary. But don’t worry. We have you covered.

It’s a schedule that is designed to work even harder to help…

  • Support your body’s inflammatory and immune responses
  • Promote the breakdown excess waste proteins like fibrin and dead tissue in your blood
  • Encourage your body’s production of antibody molecules that fight pathogens and foreign substances…
  • Maintain healthy digestion that assists with the absorption of important nutrients…

We call it an “activation serving size” schedule. It’s an easy way to provoke a more immediate response from your body – to rebalance your enzyme levels as quickly as possible and help you find your personal optimal serving size for the fastest relief.

Days 1-2: Take 3 capsules before bedtime, at least one hour after dinner. Continue this low standard serving size for two days to gauge your tolerance to the normal detoxifying effects of rebalanced enzyme levels in your body.

Days 3-5: Take 3 capsules in the morning at least 30 minutes before breakfast and 3 capsules before bedtime, at least one hour after dinner. Continue for three days so your body can continue to adjust to the detoxifying effects of the increased enzymes. (Days 3-5)

Days 6-8: On days six, seven and eight, add one more capsule to each serving to maximize your enzyme levels for faster healing as needed (i.e. 8 total capsules on day six, 10 on day seven, 12 on day eight).

Step 4: Once you find your “ideal activation serving size”, continue with it until you have a noticeable reduction in joint and muscle discomfort and stiffness. This step normally may take 2 to 12 weeks, a relative short period of time for such a great benefit, depending on the severity of your condition and level of joint and muscle discomfort.

Your age, weight, level of pain, metabolism and other factors will affect how long this step will take.

Maintenance Serving Size

Once you have noticeable benefit, follow the maintenance serving size of 3 capsules. But remember! Any time you experience joint discomfort or muscle discomfort associated with exercise, you can increase your dose again until you feel better.

Now it’s time to make sure you hang on to everything you’ve gained. Don’t throw away the relief and improved health you’ve achieved — be sure to maintain your enzyme levels to keep your body on the path to optimal health.

  3. After the fifth day, continue your regimen at half of the dose at which you stopped.
